If your content is copied from other sites or the content is similar to other content, it will not work.

It's not. It's just a regular, boring general discussions forum, it doesn't have a particular niche... :noh:

Bounce rates, quality, activity, backlinks, social presence etc.. matters too.

Post high content and go on similar sites and post valuable comment with your site on. DONE

Social pages and just share. More than 70% of my views started from Facebook and Twitter so just start sharing everything there and hope for the best.

I don't really understand the Op, did he mean Alexa ranking? What I saw is Alexa backlink.
From what I noticed on Alexa ranking of recent, websites that recieve consistent hits got ranker lower (the lower the better) than inconsistent websites.
Eg if a domain name get an constant 50k page views per day or almost that tend to do more than pages that fluctuates between 30k to 60k.

Alexa Ranking totally depends on your niche. Blogs with SEO niche tends to have high alexa rank with low traffic, because their visitors are mostly webmasters with alexa toolbar installed in their browser. Other blog niches will have variation in alexa ranking based on their incoming traffic. Few sites will have 100000 visitors per month, but the alexa ranking will be very low like above 100K. Gaming, medical, pharma niche are the best example.

If you want to increase your alexa rate, install alexa widget in your site and ask some one to review about your site with alexa toolbar installed in thier PC. Don't use black hat technique. Work hard to drive traffic which is the proven method to increase Alexa traffic.

Also depends on keywords if im not mistake, cause it ranks you with other sites similar, to your site.

Backlinks and stuff like that.
