A Place Further than the Universe (Sora yori mo Ti Basho) is one of my go-to recommendation for people who wish to hop on the Anime train. It has everything that you look for in good TV Series but in Anime form.

What are your favorite anime's and why?
Watch Sket Dance. It has comedy, drama, slice of life kind-of-thing, and a little bit romance.

Well I know people think naruto isn't that special but it is a very good anime and a good one to start of on as a anime noob.
I like it because ahhh i just can't explain it pre naruto shippuden is pretty boring it does show his 9 tails sometimes but once you get onto ship it will be amazing and the powers of sasukae and once your finished that boruto will be next, I havnt watched it so i wouldnt know. People say it's bad but only time will tell.

Yeah for noobs, i'd guess you could try watching anime movies? Or try the shounen's that everyone is piling. I'd recommend the movies, since they're generally more relatable to general audiences.
