Most of people suggest pop animes. Which is already big business out there such as JUMP kind of things from Bandai. :/

Anime noobs should look for short animes, otherwise they could get bored so I recommand Death Note (classic) and Hunter x Hunter

Not really my favourite anime but I LOOOVED it! Its called Lovely Complx: its a romance anime if youre into that. The reason why I loved was because it was soooo cuteee!!!!

I always recommend new people to watch "Death Note", so give it a try if you like.
