Autotune yes, no or little?

Should an artist use autotune if their voice isn't the best or should they make it work with whatever they got. People seem to always hate on autotune but artists still use it all the time.

If the autotune is well done why not, but if it sounds like a robotic/not effort sh*t straight up to the trash

A almost never hate the sound of autotune, and very often even prefer it before the original vox. I guess I just like the electronic sound in general.

autotune if fine in some cases but most of the time now when soundcloud "rappers" are using autotune it just sounds like shit because their 15 year old white voices don't sound good

pitch correction has been used for a long time and will continue to be used until it burns out like most music fads, so u gotta learn to adjust to the times for the time being

I love watching Youtube videos where they take live performances and remove the music to show how bad the singers really are. Autotune is much of the same.
