Autotune is great tool when used properly, and terrible when used bad. Plenty of resources on YouTube to learn how to use it well.

Some dudes did amazing things by overusing it like Travis Scott, and some guys just polished their voices like Drake.
I mean I'm not like "yeah you should use your real voice" autotune is just a tool, if you know how to use it it's okay. Like, it's the product at the end that matters.

Doesn't matter if it sounds good, so it depends how much your ears tolerate it

I think it all depends on how the artist makes use... sometimes necessary, others, not so much

Depends what genre. Country, straight up vocals. Rap with a little travis scott its no big deal.

T-Pain made a whole career using it. Sometimes it just works.

Like everyone else says, when it's done properly it can really accentuate the vocals in a very unique way.
