Try and get off of your screens 30 minutes - 1 hour before you go to sleep each day and it helps your eyes relax easier resulting in you being able to get to sleep a lot faster
Start the Wake up at 4:30 AM challenge. ITs rough at first but you will be more productive.. Key is go to bed early.
Get up at 4:30, eat, run/walk, shower get ready for your day. Start early get shit done before most is even awake. be done by lunch. have afternoon to self got to bed early. repeat.
Circadian rhythms are very effected by light sources. You need daylight. I know, because I've suffered with insomnia since I was a child. It gets worse in winter months because I don't get a lot of sunlight. Try taking a good vitamin D3 supplement. Other than that, don't punish yourself with the self-defeating talk. I know how bad lack of sleep will effect a person. I can lay in bed from 11:30pm to 6am without sleep. It's not from lack of trying to go to sleep. Anyone who suffers from actual insomnia knows it's not a one cure fits all disorder. CBD oil might be a viable option for something to try without many side effects.

I know there were a diseasabout this. you just don't feel tired and able to live well with less sleep time than other.
If you are tired and still can't sleep you probably had bad habit of sticking with the clock sleep/wake. or I found it in the hardway after few years of sleepless nights was you worries about random stuff for no reason or for some reason.
Try to find a way to solve your problem to make it go away.
