I've used the game Aimlab which is a free to play game. It really is similar to CS:GO in weapon shooting mechanics and such and I think will help you with your flick aiming. There are different modes and such for different kinds of practices.

Best tip: start with playing ranked matchmaking and once you reach dmg purchase monthly ESEA/FACEIT subscriptions to actually play with good people and be in a constructive environment

I have about 1,000 hours into CS:GO, peaked at LEM before the MM changes; probably not a lot to other veterans in the game but fairly good amount to gain knowledge within the game.

I can start off by giving you some tips about things NOT to do:

  1. Don't aim at the ground, as it won't be any use since the enemies are not going to be at your feet.
  2. Don't be a COD player, a lotof players will tend to hold down LMB; but don't just hold down LMB whilst aiming at the enemies, just because they're on your crosshair doesn't mean the bullets will 100% land on that dot, as this game does have a recoil pattern. (Just starting off, stick to SMGs as they are generally easier to use)
  3. Don't buy anything expensive upon losing the pistol round, since if you die in the second round you will be left with no money.
  4. Don't run while shoot, as upon shooting while running your accuracy is very bad. (Mainly Rifles)

Some tips that you CAN do:
  1. Use grenades; flashbangs, molotovs, and etc. They are very useful as they can help you out while fighting the enemy or before; using flashbangs to blind the enemies and using molotovsto burn out common areas to force the enemies to leave their position or to delay them.
  2. If you're playing the Terrorist (T) side, always make sure to plant the bomb in the most optimal spot as it is the ticket to you winning the round.
  3. Do press SHIFT when you're trying to hide/slow push, as the enemies do have ears and can hear your run.
  4. Try to communicate with your team, calling out enemies and any kind of information is useful; whether be how many people, what gun they have and especially HP.
There are many tips and tricks that you can find on the Steam Guides and on Youtube, but these were the few tips I can give to you for now.

GL HF.

I actually became better after cheating for a few months. I'd just be better at everything in the game in general.
