Best Version of Minecraft Server?

I'm with the 1.8.9 crowd, it just has the best overall feel. 1.12.2 would probably be my second choice.

I would say 1.7.10 - 1.8, as they have the best mods.

personaly for my server I run 1.8.8. I use to run 1.8 but place holders and stuff have more options on 1.8.8 as well as that I don't like the new pvp system so that's why I switched to 1.8 to begin with.

If you have enough resources on a vps/vds you can run the latest version i don't think mojang release a version that is unstable

1.7 and 1.8 are the best versions even though there is glitches. However, they can be easily fixed w/a plugin.

the best version for mc servers is 1.8 (for anticheat support and pvp)
