Since last year, i trust none than the Windows Defender. I bought the professional version, so i can always rely to it, i hope. It also get routine updates on latest risks.

I've always used AVAST premier, I've never had problems, but there are people who do not like it very much.

Agree, Avast has been my favorite anti-virus for the last several years, and I only use the free version. Stay away from clicking on shit that you don't know what it is, don't download from random places, and you will be fine. Get CCleaner as well to keep yourself clean - there is even a license key here on the forum that you can use to upgrade it to the Professional version for free. I did it the other day and it worked perfectly.

There is no such thing as "best antivirus" all devices are infected NSA ensured to do that a long time ago, plus antiviruses are based on detecting diferent software signatures, so adding a little garbage code into a malicious code will make the virus to be undetected, so for me these "Antiviruses" are just a commercial bullsh** :kekdog:

Best antivirus is user.

However, ESET is pretty solid. We are using centralized version with console on our work. Easy to deploy installations remotely on new clients and rarely have problems with viruses and other malware (and we have over 300 computers on our internal network).

Avast - use to be good few years ago. Now it's solid crap.
