Guys, VSDC has been headache because it produces huge file size for a small 5 minutes videos. I liked it because of ease of use

You could always pirate something like Sony Vegas or Premier Pro

None really, unless you want annoying watermarks or horrible UI. Either do as above, or shill out the sub

Davinci Resolve is pretty good given that it's free. Also file size is dependent on your output settings including encoder, frame size, frame rate and bitrate. Though I have no experience with VSDC so maybe it doesn't let you configure those options.

Uhh, I don't know how advanced the software should be and if you need something for just a video or for a long time period, but I would recommend you "TechSmith Camtasia Studio".
It only has a 30 day trial and I never had any bad experiences when I used it when I was younger.

You can also test the Adobe Products if you didn't do that yet. Premiere Pro is also easy to use in my opinion.

I use DaVinci Resolve that's good for a free editor, but i think there might be better ones
