COVID-19 Discussion Thread

Honestly, this whole coronavirus lockdown thing is extremely dumb from my point of view.

It's definitely been uhhh... rough. But I'm hoping it ends soon.

With schools starting back in person, I think the whole situation is simply going to get worse before it gets better, at least in America.

Are you guys worried about the fall? I've been thinking about schools reopening and it's scary to think that so many lives will be put in danger?

This virus has halted my goals and future plans. I wish for a vaccine already and for life to go back to normal

Not going to lie, I think it's kind of cool to be able to live through something that future generations will learn about, but it's horrible. If we in the US did anything remotely similar to S.Korea we'd be in such good shape.

I don't know which generation is more stupid, the young kids throwing parties or the old people that refuse to wear a mask when in public. Like, are you trying to kill your loved ones/friends or do you just not care if you die? It's stressful to see other countries handling this while the US is just casually shrugging everything off like there's not a problem.

how about that approval for the plasma therepy and its not even proven to work yet! crazy

People in Canada are also against masks, the rest of the pop looks at them like they're crazy Plus one province decided to fire key medical staff at the height of the pandemic...

My school is returning to in-person classes and I am not looking forward to it! What I'm hoping for, as evil as it is, is that they'll wait until it's past the deadline for a refund on classes before switching us back to online ASAP
