Can i mine cryptocurrency on centos 7

I really wanted to mine on centos 7 any legit program can anyone tell me instructions
some little commands to do mining
cpu mining, i wanna mine btc i am poor af like my pc is 2 gb ram no gpu, and some of my friend gifted me centos 7 for a mon th if you can help me god bless you bruh

The miner process needs GPU, you do not need an agreed OS for that, it will not serve you

You can mine not only on the GPU, you can also on the CPU
It all depends on the crypto protocol

I guess it really depends on the program you use. Also Ptcd is not wrong you can mine on either. Depending on your GPU it is most likely faster and you will benefit more than mining from your CPU.
