[DEBATE] Should marijuana be legal?

I agree that the smell can be very annoying even to users who smoke a lot. There is no reason any drugs should be illegal because it would reduce harm immensely. No one should ever go to jail over a dime bag of weed. I think it's better that the government makes money off drugs rather than gangs, cartels, and kids.

it should be legal, because its easier for teens to get weed than alcohol

I don't think we know too much about it. We could really use some more studies on it first.

It should be legal so the quality can be controlled. Also the government could benefit from the VAT applied. Another benefit is that drug dealers will lose part of their income.

It will be legal here in Canada within 1.5 months. The only thing that bothers me is the amount of people who will be trying it for the first time then jumping behind the wheel of a car without knowing the full effects.

Can't say I agree with it being legalized. Personally I just can't stand the smell of it :lol:

Alcohol does more damage.. also smoking.. So legalize is..
