Do you think Chernobyl series are overrated?

It may be a bit overrated, but definitely good. Things can be both at the same time, you know!

As with any show, certain aspects were over-dramaticized, but not a big deal. I've done a good bit of reading into Chernobyl as well (the actual event...not the show), and it (the show) does include a lot of little details / references that I really appreciated.

One thing that kept throwing me was the British accents. I 100% understand why they used the actors they used, and I'm not taking any points away from the show over it. But it just seemed so out of place lol

I enjoyed the series very much (I feel a bit weird saying it like that- meaning well-written and the directing part of it...) and thought it was well-written. Also I learned a lot more stuff about Chernobyl I hadn't known previously. Only thing I'd say kind of "meh" about it were as some others have mentioned, but the accents.. kind of throws you off a bit.

The dog episode really got to me hard. It's a powerful series. I heard Russia wasn't too happy about the series so they're making their own version of Chernobyl which will blame the disaster on the Americans lol

Yikes

I'm an engineer in a similar industry and it felt way too real the first couple of episodes. I think the more you're involved in this sort of world the more terrifying it is, I can see similarities to it every day I go to work.

I think really good even just from an educational point of view. I bet so many people had no idea about it before the series

yep they are, horror made it even worse with chernobyl fans awfullewxydft

Chernobyl series is not overrated. It's a very good serie !-
