I remember the good old days when Skype was a thing, Then it was Teamspeak now its Discord. It just seems that voice servers are slowly evolving and Discord is the most popular right now. It has lots of cool features and integrates well with games.

There are many unique communities, does really reminds me of IRC, i guess its a upgraded version of it, i never thought about it until now... wow.

there's so many good groups that sharing and discussing things there, so why not

I use discord yes its mostly to talk to fwends from school and work

I use it to keep in touch with my friends. Its basically just a constant place to hang out especially useful during covid.

I use discord since its a free and honestly solid voice solution. Teamspeak was a little too scary for some of my less techie friends.

I use discord cause everyone i know stopped using Ventrilo or Team Speak and XFire been shut down for a long time and Steams client no one uses anymore. Everyone I know uses discord.
