Earliest version you played on.

Be honest, it isn't a competition, there isn't a winner,

I want to know what the earliest version of minecraft you played on,
What things did you like about that version? and what do you miss about it?

for me it was Beta 1.2, I first got the game back then, and I can still mentally picture my first base, lost to a hdd failure, but a giant dirt castle was impressive for me.

I miss the old door and chest sounds, the simple clack of a door opening is still one of those sounds that make me get all nostalgic when I hear it.

1.2.3 was the earliest version that I played minecraft. I liked the fact that it was not as complex as the current minecraft versions with taming and all the other new addons. But seeing minecraft advance and gain population is still nice to see.

The first version I played on way 1.8, it was a great time to play minecraft

I used to play this alot.
But the very first one i played must've been 1.7.

My first version was 1.5.1, even with forge and some mods.

The first versin I played was 1.5.2 with something mods

My earliest minecraft version that i played is 1.0.0. O_O
