Multicore rendering in Garry's Mod has a big deal on your FPS.

Could you provide your system specifications so we could have more insight on your performance issue?

Garry's Mod is a heavy CPU game but I believe there are a few console commands oyu could use, not sure what they are though unfortunatly

Just look up Youtube videos on how to get better FPS it works

Multicore setting in Gmod isnt doing so much anymore because the option will be removed and its not used

Enabling it was probably the best thing I've done in GMOD. It doubled my fps.

Turn the settings down, if you're playing a Source game there are websites that allow you to customize your settings to levels below the minimum. For example I got my brother's potato to run TF2 at solid 60fps after I reverted his graphics to 1990 mode.

Put all your textures etc in fast on garry's mod you will drink less

Download an fps booster or change your settings. Not hard lad.

watch youtube videos and you can get better really fast
