Favourite movie genre?

My favourite genre its and has always been sci-fi, but in the last days i have watched some random movies and got surprised how good can genres like drama or bio can be.

Action and comedy, pretty much covers all that's needed from movies for entertainment

I think it depends on the mood.
But most times I like to watch action movies.

I love a good comedy over any other genre. The other genres I prefer would be sci-fi, heists and action movies.

Horror. Hard to explain the obsession despite its formulaic trends and often mishandled characters and dialogues... but i love it

I love sci-fi movies, but I'm also a sucker for everything that has zombies or is set on post-apocalyptic environment

I love Comedy Movies. I just became a fan during my time on cinema school.

I am an aspiring movie director, so out of curiosity, what is everyone's favourite movie genre? And why?

I love comedies, but I feel newer comedies sre not my style. Prefer 80s and 90s comedies.
