GTX 1070 to RTX 3070?

If you have the money then I say it is a no-brainer. The RTX3070 is considerably faster and will last many more years than the GTX1070.

3070 is a beast. I'm also tempted to upgrade from my 1080

I think you should. Even the new technologies coming in the RTX series are worth buying. I will sell my 1080 card at the first opportunity and move on to 2080.

Avoid getting 3000 series until the current problems are fixed.

Well if you look at it from another perspective. A 1080 can still run AAA games.
There just isn't any games that you need a 3070 to run.

Am still waiting for the AMD conf at the end of the month but probably go for a 3070

So many people bought full rigs for the quarantine and I knew the launch was just around the corner. Imagine buying a new 20 series in july.
