Games like Skyrim

I really enjoy playing ARK Survival Evolved. Thats open world and quite similar to Skyrim in some aspects

Witcher 3 the wild hunt and morrowind are very similar to skyrim

I don't know of any game that is like skyrim but better. Skyrim is just godly.

If you like realistic games i would suggest kingdom come deliverance its a really good game with the great plot and the mod community that grows everyday.

I know this may not please some, but the Legend of Zelda games can give a bit of the same feeling of adventure as the TES games, all though its linear. There is also dragons dogma which is an open world rpg.

If you want something with combat and magic id go with dark messiah and modding it ofc with something cool.

Guess it depends on what you enjoyed with the TES games.

I'm sure this has been said but the Fallout series has that same open world, choose your adventure style game play! It's the best example I can think of.

Well if you like the immersive story the Fallout series is really good

Many other TES games, Kingdom Coma, can be Witcher 3
