Games like Skyrim

I guess somebody allready suggested Dark Souls, but I think it's your best choice. It doesn't have the same atmosphere, but it is a great game, with great gameplay and complex background story!

The Elder Scrolls Oblivion or the Kingdom Come Deliverance, the last one is brutal!

Try other Bethesda games such as TES:IV/III, Fallout series or even stealthy, semi-open world ones like Dishonored. They're pretty naisu!

Maybe try Gothic 3 or Lineage 2. I don't like solo games.

the witcher 3 , i tried playing elder scrolls online but could not get into like i did skyrim

The new kingdome come feels and looks like Oblivion. Maybe thats your thing? And its historicaly accurate.

Witcher 3 like many others have said can follow the same vein, you don't really pick your class but you can choose your own unique playstyle. And it still falls in the same kind of "world".

I heard Gothic is fun, too. I've never played it myself though, so I can't give my judgement.
