Good Graphics Design Software?

Anyone know of any good graphics design software?

I heard that Adobe Illustrator is the right way to go but I'm not sure.

Try adobe Photoshop with C4D[Cinema4D] And the result will be best :D

I recommend photoshop cc. it's simple to use.

Photoshop is probably the best for just simple thread designing and stuff.

I use Photoshop cc and sometimes according to need I use illustrator also

I always wanted to try something about graphi design but dont know how to start in the first place

firstly what will you use it for? logo ? web site? or just fun ?

photoshop for the pixel graphics
illustrator for the vector graphics

and you can do 3d graphics on cinema 4d for the best.
