Not sure why they're banning bookbags when they can just add metal detectors. There only been 1 case of someone bringing a bb gun to my school and that was before they added metal detectors. After they added metal detectors we have not had anything happen to our school. People also, don't sell drugs in my school because of it and it's pretty much safe as long as you're monitoring people going in and out. Also, my school had exit doors that would ring very loud and security would be there in under 3 minutes. So, seeing that people want to ban bookbag to keep kids safe is one of the dumbest shit I heard since people can have an ar on themselves without making it look obvious.

Im curious are any schools teaching the value, responsibility and history of gun ownership or is all about banning and preventing what you dont understand?

I think they should just go and ban clothing, you could fit a whole anti-tank missile in them.

I'm in high school, all they say is that they are spending $600,000 on doors. Lol but nothing else, we've always had to have meshed bookbags
When I die, I want to go in my sleep just like my Grandpa did. Not screaming like all the people on his plane.

Funny thing is that if this is true: Most of the school shootings are done by someone just walking into school with a gun.
I mean honestly, how are you going to fit an AR15 in a fucking backpack? Unless you're planning on going hiking after a day of education, then you're not going to have many places to put the thing.
Most of the time someone just walks into a school with ill intent.
