How did you first get into Anime?

My parents got me into it! I grew up on anime/cartoons my father would burn onto discs for me lol.
I grew up on 80s/90s stuff because of it.
Just so happens that both my parents are weebs so... the apple doesn't fall far from the tree I guess.

Adult swim back in I think 2005. I was watching Inuyasha and thought it was pretty interesting!

I watched dubbed anime, but didn't think of it separately from Western cartoons until my brother sat me down and had me watch Pita-Ten. He is to blame for my hell.

Started watching a lot during quarantine to kill time... and slowly got sucked into watching a lot of series

I watched pokemon and was like "Hmm I should try the subbed version". And I tried one piece and now im full weeb lol

I watched pokemon, dragon ball and yugioh growing up but didn't really get into anime until much later when I watched elfen lied. That was like a whole different perspective for me in a single show, I had no idea there was a difference between cartoons and anime until then.

Told a friend I hated anime, and he told me to give deathnote a shot, ran through that then code geass and a few others. Still not really into "traditional anime"

Pokemon. When I was a kid, I loved collecting the cards - which I do to this day, and it just spiraled from there

I started watching Spirited Away and then I got pushed into learning Japanese. After that, I got influenced by my friend and started getting addicted to anime ever since.

My friend suggested me to watch Anohana and Tokyo Ghoul and i really found them super loving.
And I am now Anime addict.
