How did you first get into Anime?

Watching knights of the zodiac when I was a child in 90's

so i was always interested in japanese cultures i think when i was 12 my friend told me about anime but me being me the first anime i encountered was high school dxd then rest is history

For me i started to get curious about dragon ball and why its so popular amongst everybody so i started to watch it and ended up loving the whole idea of anime
