How did you get into anime?

well if we exclude digimon and pokemon, watching bleach and fullmetal alchemist on tv at the age of 7 is what got me interested in the medium, but not really an anime fan
it was only after marathoning naruto that i've actually tried to find more anime, and then went on to sao and stuff
what kept me going was prolly wanting to become a part of the anime usergroup on leakforums, and that made me look beyond mainstream and so i became a true anime lover

I got into anime by my friends influence hahahahaaha

I personally got myself into anime when I was around 13 or 14 can't remember. I have enjoyed finding new series to watch, as I've watched a lot of the current & past ones several times. I cannot remember the first anime I ever watched though which sucks when some people ask me "what was the first anime you ever watched?"

First animes I watched as a kid were DBZ and Pokemon but they don't really count because they aired on Cartoon Network or whatever and I never cared that much as I grew older. One day my ex forced me to watch Attack on Titan with her and I was hooked since then. I started watching more dark animes like Death Note, Tokyo Ghoul etc. but then I branched out to animes like SAO, Seven Deadly Sins, My Hero Academia and still watch anime(:

I was lonely when I was 11 years old and had nothing better to do haha

I fell asleep and when I woke up my hero academica was on and now I am in love with that show

I have been watching anime my whole life, the only difference was, i learned it was called Anime in high school.

In my 1st year of highschool, my best friend introduced me to anime. NOw i am more obsessed than him... much more

Sailor moon was my very first, but that was before I knew it was an anime. Then DBZ and yuyu Hakusho and Kenshin it went all downhill from there and I've been an anime fan since!

Friends kept telling me about anime and then I watched a few episodes of Full Metal Alchemist with a friend. He got me hooked a little.
