Since Valve implemented some battle royale files in the game it's way possible for csgo to get a battle royale mode. The game isn't dead yet

I doubt CS:GO will die, its probably the *MOST* perfect competitive FPS in general. I really doubt the franchise would ever die.... No game can replicate what CS:GO has

I would say it will last until a remake, it has such a large following that it may never die.

CS:GO will last a few more years in my eyes. Competition in higher up competitive matches may die, though, for the reasons you pointed out. There are still other gamemodes.

it will last quite a while if it can withstand the BR trends. It has done it before, and it will probably do it again.

it has been, in my opinion, the hardest and most tacticalfps game, and i think thats the appeal of that game. As long as it stays like that i think it will survive

It wont last enough, It will be surely dead by the end of this year.

I could totally imagine Valve to just update cs:go into eternity and never really developing a "Sequel" just big updates like updating to source 2 when it comes out.
