How much longer do you think CS:GO will last?

I think this will last forever and ever... I play CS for at least the past 2 decades and now I have my son playing it too... I don't think it will ever end.

counterstrike has had a following since the late 90's and it doesnt really seem like it's dying

As some of my precedessors said, I don't think it will die. Eventually - of course, but only when it's replaced by a newer version. CS:GO is popular in terms of e-sport, has millions of fans around the world, thousands of pros, so I guess it will keep living as an e-sport.

I think it will live some more years until valve give us the next CS

CSGO is the only game that hasn't lost half its playerbase after the Fortnite hype, the only people that have ever quit the game were the ones that only cared about the skins or just switched because COD fell off in 2015. csgo wont die, the pro scene as always been more hyped than 90% of other games even before it hit 1 million players. It's literally the only game where the same thing never happens twice in a pro game.

Depends. If they choose to balance it out more, it'll last a lot longer. I feel like it's getting to easier to reach Global and that's why people end up moving to ESEA and FaceIT. Well, right now I'm pretty much refering to normal matchmaking.

I think at least a couple more years because it is so competitive currently but it will die down eventually.

I don't think it will necessarily end up dead but people will pushed aside soon as newer games will stop on it, just like TF2
