How to Grow a GMOD Community

3. Do server for peple
4. Love you server how baby

Best way to start a succesfull community is having custom content, gamemodes addons or w/e
Make it unique give players a reason to join ur server

You try to make friends on lots of servers, build yourself a tree of friends and one day you ask them if they wanna be staff on your server.
The fact that they would be staff would make them the most active ones (especially youngsters).
You'll be lucky if you fall on active players.

Well, I started my community Hybrid Networks 4 years ago. It was just me and my DarkRP server.

4 years later we have 21 servers, 21 gamemodes average about 500 players across our servers.

All I did was be nice to players, give them mostly what they wanted, set ground rules.

The most important thing is to actually listen to your staff and players.
