You can buy bitcoins from localbitcoins.com, just look at vendors ratings and pick one, as for the wallet I recommend blockchain.info

Simply create yourself a coinbase account and buy some Bitcoin it's the first step to succeed then create an auto purchase every month to set volume that doesn't break your bank and you will start the right way

to be honest, i'm kind of glad the crypto fad died down. i was trying to buy a gpu for my pc to upgrade it and i coulndnt afford anything cause of the mining craze
