Just eat at regular hours, exercise, and be active during the day

Honestly I've been having the same problems recently. I use melatonin normally but I've started to notice that it doesn't really do much but make my eyes feel heavy and even if I do fall asleep I wake up with still heavy eyes and it doesn't feel that good to be honest. I would suggest a warm glass of milk and putting your phone far away from the bed if you're prone to doom scrolling in bed as a way to get you fall asleep.

Falling asleep quickly can be challenging, but implementing a few effective strategies can help. First, establish a consistent sleep schedule by going to bed and waking up at the same time every day, even on weekends. This helps regulate your body's internal clock. Create a relaxing bedtime routine, such as reading a book, taking a warm bath, or practicing meditation, to signal to your body that it's time to wind down. Ensure your sleep environment is conducive to rest: keep the room cool, dark, and quiet, and invest in a comfortable mattress and pillows. Limit exposure to screens and bright lights at least an hour before bed, as blue light can interfere with melatonin production. Additionally, avoid caffeine and heavy meals in the evening, and consider incorporating calming activities like deep breathing exercises or listening to soothing music. By making these adjustments, you can improve your chances of falling asleep faster and enjoying more restful sleep.

Try a few tricks: dim the lights, avoid screens an hour before bed, and maybe listen to some calming music or a podcast. Also, a warm cup of herbal tea works wonders for me! 😴🛌☕
