I think we should warn and give them time to remove backdoor out of there content instead of banning them
since we don't know if they really put a backdoor in it on purpose or they just releak stuffs.

Ya know, even releaks are bannable.
A lot of people just unlock something here and just re-upload it. Due to the volume, it's not easily noticable.

In any case, don't know much about gmod, but the proposition seems fair enough.
But I have no idea how it can be executed. Just telling them "hey, your leak has a backdoor, remove it please" seems inefficient. Perhaps we could snip the link and tell them to reupload it properly possibly?

I just realized that people can just unlock stuff and re-upload that make sense for banning them
but still, we don't really know who re-upload stuff they might get their stuff from the server they developed or somewhere else

The reason we ban them and trash all their leaks is that we don't want people to continue to unlock it and put their servers etc at risk. When we ban a user for it they can appeal it, I'd say more than 80% of people appeal those bans. At the end of the day if you share something, even if you stole it from somewhere you're considered responsible for that leak.

Backdoors are dangerous af. They def should be taken seriously but I do like second chances.
