to learn css well and quickly you have to be a creative person with a great desire... I advise you to visit simple sites and study it with the chrome elements inspection

CSS not hard, you can start from easy and with time you will see that it is not that difficult.

Not really, the best you can do when working with CSS it's to leave some comments after a category of design like: /* side-panel */

The most dificult in css is get well structured things in html and be patient with clients xD

Its not that hard and you can use cheatsheets from lots of sites

IMO CSS is one of the easiest languages that exists (compared to JS, PHP and many others), you can find a lot of tutorials

Front-end developers are underrated among programmers but yes, making good CSS is an art.

I don't think so, however it can get pretty hard to read if you do everything in one file
