Is Skype still popular?

So, back around ~2015 Skype in my eyes was really popular. Everyone I knew had Skype, from novist nobodies to expert hackers and forum administrators.

Is it still popular? I know that Discord has become a lot more popular in the past few years but I'm clueless as I stopped using Skype a long while ago.

The application at this point is completely dead. Windows even opens it for you on 10, so I mean they know how bad the life of it is.

I am still using it a few times a year, but basically it is dead.

Just a few years ago I have been using it daily, but with all the new stuff coming up like discord, whatsapp and co it is really outdated now.

These days , i dont see forum users using it but in the market , it still widely used .

I imagine it is still popular. Discord is still unknown to the wider population.

I guess it is. I never use it. And I really don't know anybody who does...

Discord is more popular now, but I still use it to communicate with my family (they are in Brazil and Im overseas)

No like nobody uses it not even my grandma uses it anymore because its so old fjghdfhgdhgjgfh

For some people Skype can be easier to use and find other users while others may prefer more advanced platforms like Team Speak or Discord.
