I think its not all that profitable right now, and your probably best off just buying the ethereum and holding it rather than mining.

I have a 12 card rig, which has been off for a couple of months now. I will turn it back on, but only when I can get free electricity again.

Mining off your laptop or something along those lines is near useless. You need a lot of power in order to think about getting a good start. That and it is a fast way to wear down your GPU/CPU depending on how you have it setup.

I've never believed in success with mining and I do not believe in it right now. It requires too much resources and money in an unstable crypto market. Maybe 5-6 years ago mining for bitcoin made sense.

I think now. I want to start bitcoin mining. What do you think?

Mining on computers doesn't make you any profit.

I advise you to buy mining equipment here: https://shop.bitmain.com/

Some people still mine at a lost because they believe in the technology/coin. Because once the bulls run the market again, it'll be worth it.

I don't really think it's dead tbh. As already alot of ppl said before me its going to go up again!

It may be going up again, but the ability to turn a profit; ie (Power consumption/net gain) per day is still in the red. Unless you have a crazy farm anyway.

The only way for mining to be profitable is to mine on other people hardware or to not pay for electricity. Otherwise it is not worth it.
PS: try crypto trading, lots of volatility this year, if you learn you can profit big time from the ups and downs that the market takes.
