I always use my old laptop/s to host discord bots and minecraft servers for people and I am making profit out of it so..

The server is better to put on hosting than on a home PC

It won't be stable at all, better get a dedicated one it will give you much more pleasure

Don't host your minecraft server on personal pc/laptop just buy a busget 1$ mc hosting. Better the self hosting

i would try it out for Hosting a Server on your Computer, you dont Need just RAM, you Need good Internet (veeeeerry good)

Dedicated servers are so cheap nowadays that you can honestly set it up for cheaper than the hassle
