Is ranked still relevant in 2020

I mean nowadays being ranked on CS:GO's matchmaking system isn't really a thing to be proud of because cheaters and stuff. I could say I would be proud if I had level 10 on FACEIT but idk that's just my opinion

Not anymore. And it's really hard to get global elite because of alot of cheaters. Most of people play faceit now.

sure. just get the global elite for the flex. better than no rank

VALVE MM is filled with cheaters & boosters & trolls that simply ruin everyone's experience, especially after the "F2P UPDATE".
My advice (4x Global Elite before the F2P Update) is to stick to paid competitive alternatives (FACEIT/ESEA/CEVO).

Global elite is pretty much like a flex more than anything. Ranked matchmaking isn't really the best players in the world. If you're looking for really skilled people to play against, I'd go to faceit or ESEA.

Yes, it is relevant and has its own player base. How could you question?
