It's a fact that a tomato is a fruit, just because you believe its a vegetable doesn't mean you're right. There's a lot of fruits that misclassified as vegetables for example like sweet corn, pumpkins and tomatoes.

It is a vegetable maybe? same question applies to a Carrot or an Avocado.... i think there is a culture thing how to denominate these food

Tomatoes are most definitely a fruit. Like pumpkins. Although I wasn't aware that sweet corn was considered a fruit, learn soemthing new every day I suppose.

its a fruit, though its odd to think its a fruit when you put it on veggie style sandwiches and all the sauce's like pizza or spaghetti sauce.

Yeah, technically tomatoes are berries. Bananas and eggplants are berries too, believe it or not.

You know what aren't berries though? Raspberries and strawberries.

Peanuts, cashews, almonds, pistachios and pine nuts aren'tnuts either... maybe a Change.org petition to stop idiots from naming our food is in order. Feelsbadman
