it is generally accepted that it is a fruit, but we in Russia believe that it is a vegetable and we laugh that someone thinks differently, the tomato goes to salads and its not sweet, so I dont understand who thinks it is a fruit

I think its more of a vegetable than a fruit although it is classified as a fruit. Im really not sure why that is.

Anything that has seeds is a vegetable in my opinion

it is known that it is a vegetable, but when we fly this way of thinking, then every vegetable is a fruit.
