Sorry for the unclear answer but it depends.
Indeed, a laptop is very useful in case you move around a lot or you use your computer is a variable place. If you don't change your place, a fixed pc is more interesting, especially if you're looking for power.

Well, computer is better and I have computer, but sometimes i wish i had a laptop.

Probably both. Computer is faster, laptop is compact and easy to carry.

I've seen some monster laptops from sager (US) / metabox (AU) by clevo that are more powerful than most desktop computers.
Depends on your budget and specs. Laptops are definitely improving.

Depends really on man, if you're always on the road or traveling, then you can get away with a Laptop. They have some pretty powerful ones as technology is always getting better. I have both because I travel, and sit at home so since the desktop obviously is going to be more powerful I use that when home, and Laptop when on the road

Depend on what you doing, if you work at home and don't need to move, cumputer is good, if you have to move laptop is better

I would prefer a laptop at all times, but with the way I live I only use a desktop. Laptop performance has been catching up thankfully.

I seem to be more at home with a computer, laptop is ok if you are moving about a lot.
