i think it depends, but a pc is better for gaming use

Desktop but I use a laptop to RDP ontp my desktop to perform any render work.

if you are looking for upgradability then its no question its a desktop computer, laptop is just meant for portability and comfort

Laptop its for students if you want to game use PC, learn laptop

If you are wanting mobility go for a laptop, if you don't care much for mobility go for a desktop as you will get more performance per dollar.

Depends on a lot of things.
I prefer PC because it can be easily upgrade but i have to use a laptop because of my work.

I prefer a computer, but I do have a normal and an ARM based laptop in case I go somewhere.

Laptop i prefer due to i can move it with myself to everywhere.

The computer is the best if you don't need to move it, the laptop is better when it comes to portability
