Watch Code Geass, Log Horizon, HxH and Noragami. They are the best to start

idk about starter but try tokyo ghoul or dragon balls super latest sht

You can start with death note it's the best because you gonna love it

Watch Dagashi Kashi. Loved it so much; Good characters. 2 seasons, so you can watch it for >3 hours.

Attack on Titan, Yu-gi oh, one punch man Those three are amazing

It depends greatly on what genre you are interested in just like any other media form.

A really good anime to start is Attack on Titan or perhaps Sword art online

Seven Deadly Sins , it is amazing anime with very nice character design and also the progression is a bit slow but awesome overall anime
