It's the price of electricity more that the equipment, miner hardware is very thirsty for power, that is where the plan breaks its back..

my advice, is to not even get into mining its not worth it

You need a really good pc to mine fast quick yes! I agree

dont do it, its not profitable atm, ull get eaten by hw cost and electricity cost

You gotta consider the costs of doing mining like everyone else mentioned here. China is actually pretty cheap to mine but now the government wants to ban all crypto mining because of the lack of capital control they have over cryptos flowing in/out of the country.

If you're looking to make a quick buck, I suggest you invest in crypto instead of mine. It requires large capital, large cost, and a specific technical know-how.

honestly i wouldnt spend my time on mining the time and effort it costs to actually earn something is quiet alot i tried it myself and it aint as fast as ppl think

Is it worth it to mine newer cryptos? The GPUs are cheaper, but electricity is still expensive, and with a lot of cryptos down 75% from the peak 2 years ago ... are there any opportunities out there? Do people mine for a few weeks/months, and then move on to the next?

Same here, wanna start, not sure how! I could build a website for everybody so we can start a plan!
