Lord of the Rings or Star Wars?

Lord of the Rings hands down.

Return of the king is one of my favourites movies

Maybe the new star wars have made me like the old star wars less, but I definitely like Lord of The Rings more. Fewer plot holes too imo.

Definitely Star Wars. It is and remains the best movie experience there is. And despite its age it's really worth it.

Lord of the Rings, the story line is much better in my opinion

Lord of the Rings for me. That trilogy is pretty close to perfect in my book. Star wars was great too but I found it harder to suspend my disbelief (oddly enough as it's kind of scientifically plausible for the most part lol)

The Lord of the Rings, of course.
The book is a masterpiece, and the movies are a really good adaptation.

Director Christopher Nolan's film "The Dark Knight" so well acted and the movie overall was awesome

watched a new hope for the first time yesterday and was impressed with the quality of special effects. this is in 1977 - no CGI no green screen. holy shit its well done.
as for the story, it was boging and predictable.

lord of the rings wins as far as story is concerned.

Lord of the Rings, hands down. It's so much better, in acting, story, direction, music, cinematography etc.

I love them both. Lord of the Rings is my favourite book, and a much better story by a country mile, than Star Wars, but Star Wars blends my two favourite genres of fantasy and sci-fi extremely well, and for that, it will always hold a high place is my heart.
