MacOS or Windows 10?

I have to get a new laptop for work and have been on Windows for as long as I can remember. I always liked the aesthetics of MacOS but never been able to truly try it. Plus, my work had some proprietary software that could have only worked in Windows. Now that I am with a new company, I'm wondering what are the upside and downsides of switching

IMO mac os is way more intuitive, you can just get tasks like sending files etc. done quicker. The main downside I would say is checking the compatibility (especially now on apple silicon) of software etc. like 99% of software is windows compatible and most is mac compatible but it is rare to find any software that mac only compatible other than apple software, which are most useless difficult apple versions of existing better software.

windows 10, because you would have much more freedom to your pc

I'd say if you're movie or audio editing or producing get a Mac. For gaming go PC.

windows you are so much more free! I don't know how to explain but it's so much easier to find cracker content on windows

If the two companies collaborated on a OS it would be amazing. Functionality of windows, Design of Mac. It would be awesome. I doubt it will ever happen but if it did it would be absolutely amazing.

Windows 10, has better performance in several tasks that you're going to give

Windows 10 for the win, mac is overly complicated. Its ironic because iphones are simplified, and android is like complicated in the phone world

I can't say anything bad about either. I have a pc right now but I want to get a new macbook soon.

I think Windows is the best choice here
