Minecraft will live past 2020?

As long as the modding community stays alive, I don't think minecraft will ever die. It just breathes so much more life into the game when you can create your own parts of it

I fail to see the reason for this thread. Ofc it will survive past 2020. People are still playing online flash games from early 2000's, why wouldn't Minecraft still be alive?

defo, you still see servers with thousands and thousands of players, and im still into it

Although minecraft may not be updated, there will be nostalgia for people to play.

Yeah, Minecraft will live in until 2020, It might decline but it will still have players.

I dont think MC will die anytime soon.
It still serves such a big playerbase that i dont really see it getting less popular. The somewhat regular updates also help it to stay alive.

i mean as long as babies are being born i think it will lol

Minecraft will live as long, as it updates. So, thats possible, that MC will live past 2020
