It really isn't worth it mining with your home computer. Maybe, just maybe some shit-tier coins which's networks got low hashrate and you aren't competing against giants, in hopes that coin will appreciate in the future like x10... you might find some luck. Forget mining bitcoin, eth, or the other famous cryptos on home pc.

I recommend just buying ASIC miners. using PC to mine is not worth it and cost-effective.

There is like 100s of FRAUD coins now. Even you took a good coin still it will WAST money because big companies mining now and they pays small electricity charges... I don't know about you but like in UK the electricity is low cost but in NY is so high then others./... So I suggest dn't do it.

Depends what kind of mining you want. Some cryptos use ur HDD for mining, some use GPUs only, some use both cpus and gpus

You want to use GPU for mining, not CPU. So, don't use your PC for mining. Read more about mining rigs and how to mine cryptocurrencies because there is a wealth of information on the internet and a lot to digest. Mining Bitcoin isn't profitable anymore because of variables like mining difficulties, electricity costs, and hardware space.
