If you have more than one monitor you should have your main be a high refresh rate but have your extra monitors be 60hz as you will not be using them to game so they wont need the high refresh rate unless you play racing games

I like to keep them the same for a consistent experience. It feels weird having one move smoother than the others.

Hm, I've never messed around with my extra monitor settings before -- I'll have to try it out!

The problem with having 2 different refresh rates is on some games if you are watching something on the 60hz monitor while playing it can lock the other monitor to 60hz too, i know that OBS with the preview on also has this effect.

All my monitors are 60hz, but I think I would probably want all mine to be the same higher refresh rate if I could afford it. Even stuff like moving around your mouse or scrolling on a webpage would look smoother, so there are applications outside of games for a higher refresh rate. For now I care more about color quality, viewing angles, and port selection than refresh rate, but if I had a lot of money I think there are some monitors that give the best of both worlds now.

This is complicating things to much, the more attnetion on 1 monitor will be the better quality one, both onitors should be the same model. I have 2 and im cruising

I have a 144hz as my main monitor but i use it at 120hz. 120hz works with a secondary 60hz. The 60hz will not drag the main monitor down to 60. I can't give a technical explanation as to why it does that but it just does.

In my company, more and more people want a second monitor. One alone is just really shit xD
