#1 RE: Preferred code editor for web development 16-10-2020, 02:04 PM #2 Personally I use Brackets from brackets.io. It's lightweight, and also can deploy folder as Project based ediiting. So All files on the project's folder is added. We also can search text/string in all files in the project. Pretty good and simple for a beginner.

RE: Preferred code editor for web development 17-03-2021, 03:42 PM #8 I use Atom but it sucks at supporting large files. Anything over like 1MB the editor freezes just from pasting into it, where as Sublime text does not. Simple because Atom is actually using Electron under the hood lol.
I see a lot of students out of school using Visual Code.

RE: Preferred code editor for web development 21-03-2021, 08:33 PM #10 VS Code is incredible. Microsoft is really throwing a lot of dev weight behind it, and the attention to detail is phenomenal. Also, and editor changes or updates are usually applied either without a restart, or within seconds. It's really the best option out there for cross-platform development. There is even work on making it functional in a browser so that you don't have to actually run it directly from your computer - you could program from your phone or tablet as well. Pretty great platform.
