I generally use, Sublime Text and IntelliJ Products [PhpStorm for PHP, WebStorm for JS].
For a potato system, like my Laptop (i5 process), I use Sublime Text and when I'm on my Desktop, I go with Intellij products.
Sublime is free and the fastest one I've ever worked with like VS code, Atom, Brackets, Netbeans, etc. Intellij products are paid application so there's that. But we all know how to get around with the paid applications in today's world. :p.
So for resource friendly IDE/Editor, I go with Sublime Text on the other-hand I go with Intellij.

Used Sublime for like 7,8 years.
Then switched to PHPStorm since I want full IDE features.

Sublime, Bracket, Atom and VS Code are pretty similar and all equally good IMO.
It is just a matter of personal preference.

I stick with Sublime since it is the first editor I used and liked.
Switched to full IDE because I got lazy to install various plugins and other apps.
It is also easier to debug and handle large projects on an IDE than on an editor.

For my main work, I use VS Code, I code my entire app there. If I need to make some small adjustments I usually make those on Sublime Text or Notepad++

Always been a big fan of dreamweaver myself. Took someone spending about an hour with me to give me the lowdown, but it's actually super simple... just a bit intimidating.

I prefer VS Code. It's such an amazing tool with an amazing support, and the marketplace for it is great. The integration with git is also flawless.
